Soundbaths

relax and restore

What is a Soundbath?

A Soundbath is a form of meditation through the medium of sound. They are marvellous for promoting deep relaxation and decreasing stress levels in the body. They are highly therapeutic as the sound waves and frequencies interact with you on unseen levels.

During the sound bath you lie or sit down and experience sound of selected healing instruments such as Himalayan Bowls, Shamanic Drum, Rattles, Voice and more as they move in and around the space. The sounds, frequencies and harmonics interact with your energy field and pass through your body promoting clearing, healing and helping to reduce states of anxiety and stress. Because your energy and life changes day to day so too will your experiences within a Soundbath. No two will be experienced the same.

What to expect at my Soundbaths

I deliver Soundbaths for groups of up to 12. This allows movement in and around the space and individual focus as needed during the session. Prior to you attending I open Sacred space through Prayers to the Sacred Directions and cleanse the room. You are welcome to join in with this if you arrive early. I am rooted in Shamanism and this flows through with the sounds and instruments that are played. Each has its power and purpose and are used both intentionally and intuitively. Afterwards we do an exercise to ground and centre ourselves, then herbal teas are served for anyone that wants to stay on a bit. I am an experienced, trained and insured Practitioner so be assured you are in safe hands.
